Pune's Famous Poha Chiwda (Poha Chivda) Since 1945

This is the chiwda that started it all. Our Poha Chiwda, often searched as poha chivda or Laxminarayan chivda, is the original recipe trademarked as Babus Laxminarayan Best Chiwda in 1949 and loved by Punekars for generations.

Crisp fried poha (rice flakes) is tossed with aromatic spices, peanuts and dry fruits for a perfect balance of spicy, salty and slightly sweet. It's the classic Maharashtrian chiwda that families carry abroad as a taste of home.
